Gym Studio Open
For the casual or committed, the studio has a new weights section and offers open floor space and yoga mats for those warm ups and cool downs. The space is available for using the free weight section of the gym.

Body Pump, Body Balance, Pilates and Grit Training
Esther Eves has been teaching fitness for 26 years, predominantly group fitness classes and personal training. She is a trained pilates instructor.
The certified instructors take a range of Les Mills classes including BodyPump, BodyBalance and Grit. New RPM bikes are available.
Esther teaches at Kensington Fitness Centre, Whangarei and at her own club CoreFitness Tutukaka.
Mix It Up
Its important to include a mix of strength, cardio and flexibility into your training.
Here are some great cardio, strength and flexibility activities you could consider:

Strength training builds lean muscle and helps with long-term weight loss.
- Core/Flexibility – BodyBalance, pilates, yoga, tai chi, ab training
Flexibility reduces chances of injury, increases mobility and improves your posture, which helps you look and feel great.
Core strength is critical for building a strong body to create the best platform for all other exercise.
